Keeping the spirit alive

Ouzo of Plomari Isidoros Arvanitis is a distillery well known for supporting good causes that promote the preservation of Greek traditions and heritage through a series of Special Editions. As part of an ongoing collaboration with the distillery, we created the bicentennial special edition of Ouzo of Plomari, a tribute to the 200 years of Greek Independence and the designs of Greek traditional costumes. It numbers 1821 bottles with the handwritten numbering certifying the distinctive character of the bottles.

The colour palette in white, red and blue is inspired by recent Greek history.

The pattern in blue and red, refers to the traditional Greek costumes. The Distillery joined forces with the Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation in Nafplion, undertaking the restoration of 2 traditional costumes from Lesvos, as well as the donation of 2 more costumes as part of Foundation's expansion.
