Red Design Consultants presents Yoyo Bench at the Inno Design Tech Expo, Hong Kong - where design meets business.
The Hong Kong Inno Design Tech Expo (IDT Expo) is a unique one-stop platform for creative and technology professionals to meet with enterprises who are looking to enhance their competitiveness and find business partners for new opportunities emerging in Asia.
Yoyo bench participated in the exhibition through the German Design Awards, this year's partner country at Inno Design Tech in Hong Kong.
The design of the YoYo Bench is inspired by the word Yo - a call to promote individuality through the creative abbreviation of the word YOU, while at the same time, it works as a homage to youth culture through the modern salute of teenagers (Υο).
The letters are combined in such a way that the word YoYo is readable both from the front and upper views. Designed to inspire green-thinking, the ΥοΥο Bench is environmentally friendly, made of O.S.B. material from recycled and compressed wood.
Rodanthi Senduka, creator of the emblem of the Olympic Games of Athens 2004 and Creative Director of Red Design Consultants, celebrated the exhibition along with Red's partners, The Silver Lining Net. She stated: "It was an honor for Red Design Consultants to have represented one of our new projects at such a well renowned business event".
YoYo bench is permanently exhibited at the Michael Cacoyiannis Foundation and was one of the key pieces of the "Etsi for the Environment" exhibition.
